Pragati Maidan
Pragati Maidan is a venue for large exhibitions and conventions in New Delhi and with 72,000 sq. mtrs of exhibition space; it is presently Delhi's largest exhibition centre.
Functional since 1972,it is owned and managed by Indian Trade Promotion Organisation (ITPO), the premier trade promotion agency of the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Govt. of India.
Equipped with modern facilities that host some of the most popular trade shows in India like India International Trade Fair and New Delhi Auto Expo, the venue offers state of art facilities and contains 19 spacious halls including around 61,290 sq. meters of exhibition space and around 10,000 sq. meters of open display space.
Divided into smaller buildings and compounds, Pragati Maidan hosts plethora of national and international exhibitions of all kinds and houses five permanent exhibitions which include the Nehru Pavilion, Atomic Energy, Defense Pavilion and different museums like the Energy is Life and Craft Museum.
Pragati Maidan remains open from 10-00 to 17-00 and during the holidays, it remains open till 20-00. |
